Job Overview:
The first several weeks will be engaging in existing processes to better understand flow of information and responsibilities of all involved. During this time, identifying areas of improvement will be crucial. By no means do existing methodologies have to remain intact. We are always searching for better ways of running this operation to improve productivity.
Items of Primary Focus:
- Communication between all team members.
- Training of newer Field Techs.
- Identify causes of re-orders and propose plan to reduce them.
- Inventory control. All ordering of stock and commercial project materials.
- Establishing stronger relationships with key Contractors.
- Problem solving/dispute resolution for customers having issues.
- Work closely with Office Manager to ensure proper scheduling and data input for all projects.
- Previous experience with Project Management Software a Plus.
General Duties:
Overseeing Commercial Projects. Prepare Estimates, Review Contracts, Project Manage and Ordering of all materials for Commercial projects and scheduling of installations.
Job site walks with Owners/Contractors to identify scope of new opportunities.
Completing General Safety Inspection Checklists for all Commercial Projects as well as all Safety Programs issued by HR.
Assist in the field in a supervisory capacity, when needed.
Coordinate and monitor field teams to promote ongoing training as well as ensuring success of complex work. Put the right team on the right job.
Monitor Receivables and delegate follow-ups for billings.
Assist with walk-in business as well as answering phones when shorthanded.
Unload Vendor trucks as needed.

Qualifications
- Strong project management skills with experience using project management software
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage commercial operations and projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of driving results and meeting business objectives
- Relevant certifications in project management or operations management would be a plus
